When you look at the United States' Silicon Valley, it's easy to see the potential of an ideas-based economy.
And Australia's young start-ups are now even starting to replace mining magnates, topping the young rich lists.
The start-up scene in Australia is growing strong as many young entrepreneurs try to realise the potential.
One such company is Ninja Blocks. An Australian company that started with help from a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Ninja Blocks co-founder Marcus Schappi said the support from online backers was overwhelming.
"We're just looking at our phones and watching the money rolling in," he said. "It was quite amazing.
