The long and the short of it

The world's shortest man has come face to face with the world's tallest man at the Guiness World Records Live opening in Istanbul.

Sultan Kosen, 27, is an Istanbul native, and at 2.46m, the Turk is the tallest man in the world.

At 74cm, He Pingping is the shortest man alive.

According to Britain's The Sun, Kosen has been waiting to meet Pingping.

"I've wanted to meet Pingping ever since I was awarded the title 'tallest man' and I'm really happy that he was willing to travel to Turkey so we could both take part in the launch celebration... I can't wait to show him around our beautiful city", he said.
