CANADIAN THEATRE CRITIC JAMES KELLEHER NESTRUCK'S NRL SCOOP

"Anyone cover the New Zealand rugby league and want the contract of a player called Martin Taupau that was just emailed to me by accident?" - tweeted Nestruck

He followed up with: "Breaking: Martin Taupau signs three-year deal with Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, 2016 - 2019.

He then went on to explain: "Apparently, a guy named Joe Kelly is the CEO of the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles rugby team... and I get his emails."

When a follower tweeted "You do realise this is the BIGGEST story you will ever break, bro?", Nestruck's response was swift: "I think you underestimate the power of Canadian theatre!"

With his name trending in Australia he signed off with: "Hey there Antipodean rugby enthusiasts... Thanks for all the interest, but I'm done playing at Kiwileaks now - and am off to review a play."
