Theme park safety audits almost complete

An audit has found all rides at Movie World are safe, while inspections at other theme parks are on track to be completed by the end of November.

A safety audit has cleared all rides at Movie World and inspections at other Queensland theme parks are due to be completed this month.

Industrial Minister Grace Grace said safety inspectors found Movie World had "robust systems" in place and all 16 rides were safe.

Safety audits are ongoing at other theme parks including Dreamworld, where the loss of four lives on the popular Thunder River Rapids ride sparked the safety crackdown.
