There's a war on young people: Greens

Greens leader Richard Di Natale says there is a massive intergenerational divide developing in Australia because of Turnbull government policies.

The Turnbull government is presiding over an ongoing war against young Australians, the Greens claim.

"There is a massive intergenerational divide developing in Australia and what we're seeing is intergenerational theft," leader Richard Di Natale told ABC radio on Friday.

In arguing his case, the senator cited the lack of action on housing affordability, university debts and climate change by a generation of leaders who had access to cheap housing and free tertiary education.
