There's good news for jobseekers with the federal government looking to hire 4500 workers to speed up the building of the NBN network.

Thousands of jobs are being advertised as the federal government tries to double the workforce of its NBN rollout.

Another 4500 workers are needed in order to connect eight million homes to high speed broadband by 2020.

The jobs will be spread out across the country and available to those with or without experience.
