Police allege two men, aged 23 and 29, arrived at a home near Condobolin, about 5am on Tuesday, armed with a shotgun, a knife and an axe and assaulted a 68-year-old man, knocking him unconscious.
When the 68-year-old man regained consciousness, the home had been gutted by fire and he could not locate the other occupants. It’s understood the man had been dragged a short distance from the building before it was set alight.
The home invasion triggered a NSW-wide manhunt as police began searching for the two women and teenage boys and their alleged abductors.

On Tuesday night, the 71-year-old woman and the two boys – aged 11 and 14 – were dropped by the side of the Putty Rd.
