Three Aussies injured in Nice attack

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has confirmed three Australians have been injured following a deadly attack in Nice.

Three Australians have been injured following what appeared to be a terrorist attack in the French city of Nice, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says.

"They have suffered minor injuries, seeking to flee the scene, to get away from the scene," she told reporters in Perth on Friday.

Ms Bishop condemned the incident - in which a truck ploughed through Bastille Day celebrations - saying it had all the hallmarks of a terrorist attack.
