Three charged, $7m drugs seized in Sydney

Police have seized $6.8 million worth of MDMA and the drug 'ice' during raids on a car and homes in Sydney's west, arresting and charging three men.

Nearly $7 million worth of MDMA and 'ice' has been seized and three people charged with supplying drugs in Sydney's west.

Detectives on Thursday arrested two men, aged 25 and 28, at a car park in Pendle Hill, where it's alleged they were about to hand over 5kg of MDMA.

A 32-year-old man was arrested a short time later at a shopping centre in Strathfield.

Police later raided homes in Meadowbank, Granville and Parramatta, seizing a further 10kg of methylamphetamine, 1kg of MDMA, drug paraphernalia, cash, mobile phones and electronic devices.

The drugs had an estimated street value of $6.8 million.

The three men were charged with various offences, including supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.

They were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
