Three escape boat capsize off SA coast

Three escape unharmed from a boat capsize off the South Australian coast.

Three people have been winched to safety after their boat overturned off the South Australian coast.

Emergency services were called to the Backstairs Passage, between Cape Jervis and Kangaroo Island, at 3.30pm on Monday.

A 59-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, of Kangarilla, and a 51-year-old man from Seacombe Heights swum to shore before being recused.

The trio took to nearby rocks for safety but were uninjured.
