Three girls hurt in NSW ferris wheel fall

Three teenage girls who fell from a ferris wheel in Sydney's southwest have been taken to hospital.

Three teenage girls have been injured, one seriously, in a fall from a ferris wheel in Sydney's southwest.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the YMCA Fun Park in Memorial Avenue, Liverpool about 5.10pm on Sunday.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said one girl suffered pelvic and arm injuries and was rushed to the Westmead Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Two girls were taken to the Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition, one with arm injuries and one with rib injuries.

It's not yet clear how the accident happened.
