Three killed in separate Vic crashes

Three people have been killed within 12 hours in separate crashes on Victoria's roads.

A woman has been killed after a four-wheel drive carrying six young children rolled over in one of three fatal crashes on Victorian roads in the space of just 12 hours.

The 27-year-old woman died after the 4WD she was driving at Narraport, in the state's northwest, rolled over on Saturday afternoon.

She was airlifted to hospital but died a short time later.

A four-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in the crash, while the other five children on board - all aged under eight - had minor injuries.

A man was killed a few hours later at Murgheboluc, in western Victoria, when a man driving a Ford sedan crossed to the wrong side of the Hamilton Highway and collided with a car carrying three people.

The driver of the Ford, aged in his 30s, died at the scene.

In a third crash, a motorcyclist aged in his 40s was killed when he collided with the back of a ute on the Western Highway at Ravenhall, in Melbourne's western suburbs.
