Three cyclists have been injured or killed on Perth roads in one day, with a 43-year-old man fighting for his life after a ute collided with him.

A 43-year-old man is fighting for his life after becoming the third cyclist since yesterday to be injured or killed after being hit by a car on Perth roads.

The man suffered a serious head injury after a ute knocked him from his bike in Gosnells at about 3pm on Tuesday.

Police are speaking to the driver, who collided with the cyclist at a roundabout.

Meanwhile, the 69-year-old woman who was killed in a hit and run incident in Halls Head on Tuesday morning has been named as Gabriele Schiller-Brett.

A 73-year-old man was charged with failing to stop and give assistance.

A male cyclist was hospitalised with lacerations to his legs after he was also knocked from his bike in Yokine just before 8am on Tuesday morning.
