Fouad Hady and Ashley Smith are finalists in the Television Current Affairs (less than 20 minutes) category for Iraq's Deadly Legacy.

It looked at the increase in babies being born deformed and children developing cancer in Iraq, and the possible links with the use of depleted uranium weapons against the country.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Melbourne on 9th December, with highlights screened on SBS ONE at 10pm that evening.

WALKLEY MAGAZINE - Dateline's Executive Producer Peter Charley has written an article about Iraq's Deadly Legacy for the Walkley Magazine, explaining the dilemma over showing the graphic images of deformed children.
