Police were called to the Paradise Point residence at about 5.30 pm on Tuesday where the bodies of a woman in her 70s and two women in their 50s were discovered, a spokeswoman said.
The women were all known to each other.
Police could not confirm media reports that the women had died in a suicide pact.
Paramedics were called to home just before 3.30pm, but did not treat any patients, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
