Three women missing in Qld national park

Search resumes for trio who failed to return from a bushwalk at Lamington National Park, on the Gold Coast hinterland.

An aerial search for three missing bush walkers on the Gold Coast hinterland has resumed at first light.

The women set out on a walk at Lamington National Park, Binna Burra, around 8.30am (AEST) on Wednesday.

Police were told after 6pm (AEST) that the trio failed to return.

A land and aerial search began on Wednesday night, but was suspended because of bad weather.
