Dustin Martin is considered a certainty to return for Richmond on Sunday and Daniel Rioli might finally make his AFL comeback.

The two are among six additions to Richmond's squad for the clash against Geelong at the MCG.

Fellow premiership player Jack Graham was also named, a week after he was dropped, and the team will be finalised on Friday night.

Ivan Saldo and Corey Ellis were also named for potential recalls and Ryan Garthwaite will make his AFL debut if he makes the final 22.

The Tigers dropped Anthony Miles and Connor Menadue in the wake of last week's loss to Port Adelaide.

Martin missed the Power match because of a calf muscle injury and Rioli is on the verge of a long-awaited AFL comeback.

Rioli suffered a broken foot in last year's grand final win over Adelaide and is the only member of the historic premiership team yet to play in the seniors this season.

The speedy small forward has shown solid VFL form since he started playing again last month.

Geelong's only confirmed change so far is the loss of defender Aaron Black because of a knee reconstruction.

Jackson Thurlow is his most likely replacement.

Along with Thurlow, the Cats added Cory Gregson, Zach Guthrie, Lincoln McCarthy and Sam Simpson to their extended squad.

The Tigers are coming off the loss to Port. It was their third this season on the road.

But Sunday will be a major test for the Cats, given Richmond have a 15-game winning streak at the MCG.
