NSW second-rower Josh Jackson has thrown his support behind embattled Blues teammate Robbie Farah amid his apparent on-going dramas at the Wests Tigers.
Farah could be relegated to the bench for Friday night's NRL clash with South Sydney, but Canterbury forward Jackson believed it wouldn't have any impact on his performance in the State of Origin arena.
"I'll back Robbie every day of the week," Jackson said.
"He's a professional. He's been around the game for a fair 10-plus years, so I think it will be business as usual for Robbie."
Farah was rested from the Tigers' game against the Sydney Roosters immediately after the first Origin, and while he was named at No.9 against the Rabbitohs, coach Jason Taylor refused to confirm whether he would actually start.
But regardless of what preparation the 245-game veteran has ahead of the Blues' must-win Origin match against Queensland at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday week, Jackson said he was a valuable part of the squad.
"I know in and around the camp he is a leader and a quality player and that he's a quality guy off the field as well," Jackson said.
"He's a leader in our team for the Blues and he did an enormous job there are a couple of weeks ago."
Jackson also refused to weigh into the debate surrounding who should replace his injured Blues' second-row partner Boyd Cordner.
The Bulldogs backrower said any one of Ryan Hoffman, Beau Scott, Tyson Frizell or Wade Graham could do the job.
