Tigers NRL halves Brooks, Moses stay put

Wests Tigers NRL halves Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses will both take up player options to remain at Concord next season.

Wests Tigers duo Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses are set to end months of consternation over their NRL futures by opting to stay put for the 2017 NRL season.

Both youngsters had options to leave Concord at the end of the year, however it is believed they will formally announce decisions on Friday to remain Tigers.

One of the most-inexperienced halves' pairings in the NRL, the 21-year-olds have had mixed campaigns so far in a Tigers side that sits just outside the top eight on 10 points.

The positive news comes just one week after the joint venture announcement of a new ownership model to save foundation club Balmain from extinction.

The Tigers can edge closer to the top eight with a win on Sunday over the Sydney Roosters.
