Wests Tigers back-rower Curtis Sironen appears to be the latest NRL star caught up in an off-field incident after an allegedly compromising picture of him was posted on social media on Saturday.

Sironen's Twitter account appeared to have been accessed by another person after what was claimed to be a photo of him and a naked lady in bed together was posted on his time line.

The picture was accompanied with the caption: "Before I make excuses this is why my girlfriend who is tattooed on my arm left me ... #cheater @WestsTigers".

The post has since been deleted and Sironen's official account has been closed.
