January 18: Mossad agents arrive in Dubai from all parts of Europe. January 19: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh killed in Dubai hotel room.
February 3: Andrea Faulkner appointed Australian ambassador to Israel. Early February: News of the killing emerges along with CCTV footage showing the alleged killers leaving hotel.
Feb 15: Reports suggest as many as 17 involved in hit.
Feb 16: Revealed the hit squad used the stolen identities of six British citizens and faked at least five other European passports.
Feb 24: Hit squad grows to 26.
Feb 25: Three Australian passports - Nicole McCabe, Adam Korman and Joshua Bruce - discovered in evidence of hit.
Feb 26: Dubai and Australian authorities speak about a fourth Australian passport, that belonging to Joshua Krycer.
March 7: Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade officials speak with Mr Krycer. March 23: Britain expels a senior Mossad agent from the United Kingdom.
March 23: France opens investigation into passports.
May 7: Dubai police identify more suspects in killing.
May 24: Australia expels Israeli diplomat.
