Brisbane prop Jarrod Wallace will move south to the Gold Coast on a three-year NRL deal, signing with the club until at least the end of 2019.

Gold Coast have beefed up their long-term forward stocks, signing Brisbane prop Jarrod Wallace on a three-year NRL deal.

Wallace, who has played 65 games since debuting for the Broncos in 2012, is a highly regarded up-and-comer, but was often forced to play second fiddle behind the likes of representative players Adam Blair and Josh McGuire at Brisbane.

He is therefore likely to enjoy more match time at the Titans, given he has come off the bench in all but nine of his games so far.

"I see this as an opportunity to hopefully establish myself in the NRL and go back to where my junior career began," said Wallace, who played under-20s for the Titans.

The signing comes off the back of a marked on-field improvement by the club this year, who already have all of their key forwards signed up for next season.

Nathan Friend is the only player in their pack likely to leave the club through retirement, however the Titans have already purchased former Eels hooker Nathan Peats mid-season.

"It's great that he has shown faith in what we are developing at the Titans and I look forward to him playing a major role in that," coach Neil Henry said.

"He'll provide further depth to a pack that has been consistent and competitive all season and is at the age where his best football as a prop is ahead of him."

Wallace's deal will see him remain at the club until at least the end of 2019.
