Tom Mitchell is the 2018 Brownlow Medallist, winning the award with 28 votes ahead of Collingwood's Steele Sidebottom (24) and Melbourne's Angus Brayshaw (21).

The Hawks midfielder polled votes in 12 games and was named best-afield six times.

* Most disposals this season (786 at 36 per game)

* Most clearances this season (172 at eight per game)

* Third-most contested possessions this season (353) behind leader Patrick Cripps

* Fifth-most tackles laid (138) behind leader Devon Smith
