The Wimbledon hopes of Australia's leading men could rest on each other, with Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic set to train together in the lead-up to the Championships.

Under the guidance of Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt, the pair will spend time on court with each other as they look to advance on their best showings at the iconic grand slam event - a quarter-final appearance in both cases.

Tomic will take to the Wimbledon courts full of confidence following an impressive run at the Queen's Club, where he fell to third seed Milos Raonic in the semi-finals, while Kyrgios is eyeing off a valuable top-16 seeding.

But the most vital help could come from each other - and Hewitt - in the coming days, Tomic has revealed.

Talk of a potential rift between Australia's divisive talents surfaced earlier this year when Kyrgios pulled out of the Davis Cup tie with the United States with a virus - prompting Tomic to question the legitimacy of the illness.

Kyrgios returned fire with a cheeky tweet which referenced Tomic's 28-minute 6-0 6-1 loss to Jarkko Nieminen, while also telling his countryman "don't expect me to have your back anytime soon".

But the hard feelings appear long gone, with Kyrgios courtside for Tomic's semi-final loss to Raonic after earlier in the day offering to practice with the world No.19.

"He's a great person. I do respect Nick a lot," Tomic said of his friendship with Kyrgios.

"It's good to build this spirit. We have always been a team, not just (at Davis Cup).

"Outside of Davis Cup we are always looking to encourage each other.

"In tournaments like this, we are always pushing each other.

"We have nine days before Wimbledon, but we're going to be practising a lot throughout the week and trying to encourage one another to do well.

"Hopefully all the Australian guys get a good shot at Wimbledon this year and (I) wish them the best of luck."
