Tomic the Tank Engine at it again?

Australian tennis star Bernard Tomic has again raised eyebrows for appearing to give up during a match, this time against Borna Coric in round two of the French Open.

In a moment reminiscent of his opening round match at the Madrid Open earlier this month - when the 23-year-old held his racquet backwards on match point against Italian Fabio Fognini - Tomic appeared to make no attempt to return serve against the 19-year-old Croatian.

As the teenager served, Tomic stood behind the baseline without his racquet lifted and the ball sailed past him for the second ace in a row.

Tomic was down 0-40 with games on serve in the third game of the third set.

Tomic then called for his trainers complaining of dizziness.

He lost the match 3-6 6-2 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (8-6).
