The Kremlin says it is too early to talk about any meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump at a World War I anniversary event in Paris in November.

"We don't know if Putin will be in Paris, if Trump will be in Paris. So it is premature and impossible to speak about it," Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Saturday.

The Kremlin said this week it did not rule out the possibility that Putin could hold talks with Trump at three summits due to take place in Singapore, France and Argentina before the end of the year.
