Tostee to face Oct trial for balcony death

The man accused of murdering New Zealand tourist Warreina Wright will face trial in Brisbane's Supreme Court in October.

Gable Tostee, the man accused of murdering New Zealand tourist Warreina Wright during a Tinder date on the Gold Coast will face trial in October.

Two weeks have been set aside for the trial, which is due to begin in Brisbane's Supreme Court on October 31.

Ms Wright fell to her death from Tostee's Surfers Paradise apartment after the pair had met through dating app Tinder in August 2014.
