Total fire ban for rural Victoria

Large parts of Victoria's north and west have total fire bans in place with temperatures tipped to hit the mid-30s on Monday.

A total fire ban is in place for large parts of Victoria's north and west on Monday.

The total ban on open flames has been declared for the Wimmera and Mallee regions, which are tipped to reach temperatures in the mid-30s.

No fires can be lit in the open air from midnight on Sunday.
