Total fire ban for southern Riverina

A total fire ban will be in place for NSW's southern Riverina on Friday.According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the area will have a very high fire danger, with hot and windy conditions forecast.

A total fire ban will be in place for NSW's southern Riverina on Friday.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the area will have a very high fire danger, with hot and windy conditions forecast.

The ban covers the Berrigan, Conargo, Corowa, Deniliquin, Jerilderie, Murray, Urana and Wakool council areas. It begins at midnight on Thursday, remaining in place for 24 hours.
