Total fire bans in South Australia

A fire warning has been issued for South Australia, ahead of a day forecast to bring hot to very hot dry weather.

Fresh northerly winds are forecast in western parts of the state, and the west coast's Total Fire Ban district has been warned to expect severe fire danger.

The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are likely to be fast moving and uncontrollableand has advised residents of the area to action their Bushfire Survival Plan now.

As a consequence of the forecast fire danger, the Country Fire Service has imposed a Total Fire Ban in all the Total Fire Ban districts listed above.
