Tourists warned of Fiji flood threat

Australian holiday makers headed for Fiji should be wary of a potential flood threat that could affect travel plans.

Australians headed to Fiji for their holidays have been warned to brace for a potential flooding.

The Fiji Meteorological Service is predicting heavy rain in coming days.

The federal government's Smart Traveller website warns flooding could disrupt roads, public transport and airports and advises travellers to confirm accommodation and flight arrangements with their travel agent.
