Two Townsville men are facing torture charges after leaving their alleged victim with head and facial injuries and smashing up his house with a baseball bat.

It's alleged the pair repeatedly punched a 33-year-old man in the head at his Aitkenvale home last week, before attacking the house with the bat, stealing property and fleeing.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries. His alleged attackers, aged 20 and 28, are facing charges including torture, assault, deprivation of liberty and robbery.
