Treasurer to make first visit to NT

Scott Morrison will be in Darwin on Wednesday, marking the first time he's visited the Northern Territory since becoming treasurer.

Scott Morrison will on Wednesday make his first visit to Darwin since becoming treasurer two years ago.

He's expected to announce $78.5 million in extra schools funding for the Northern Territory. The funds are in addition to the needs-based money already announced.

"We know that NT students have additional needs that require additional funding support," he told the NT News.
