Three people have been remanded in custody over the death of Logan mother Sabrina Bremer, whose charred body was found on the side of a dirt road in northern NSW two weeks ago.
Joshua Mundy, 28, Rachel Angala Wheatley, 27, and Jade Rodney Nielsen, 38, all fronted the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Thursday.
There were tense scenes outside court, with one of Ms Bremer's supporters calling for "justice" before another lashed out at television cameramen.
Ms Bremer's badly burnt remains were found by a passing motorist at Pollards Road, North Tumbulgum on August 18, two days after she was last seen alive. The motorist initially thought her body was a burning log.
Five days after the grim discovery, the 34-year-old's white Camry sedan was found in the Logan suburb of Woodridge, south of Brisbane, following a tip-off. Police say the car was last seen in the Logan area on the night of August 15.
Mundy, of Kingston, and Wheatley, of Woodridge, are both charged with Ms Bremer's murder and interfering with her corpse. Jade Rodney Nielsen, from Wynnum, is charged with being an accessory after the fact of murder.
Nielsen was remanded in custody after his lawyer, Kristy Bell, adjourned his bail application.
Ms Bell said her client had no history of failing to appear before the courts and had no reason to leave the jurisdiction.
But Magistrate Pam Dowse had said she was not inclined to grant bail on Thursday because it was a serious matter and she had concerns about Nielsen's living arrangements.
A forensic procedure order was granted for Wheatley, while the court heard there was sizeable electronic and other information to come in the case during Mundy's appearance.
Mundy and Wheatley will have their cases return to court on November 7.
Nielsen's bail application was adjourned to September 14.
