Olympian Scott Sunderland set a new Australian record on his way to collecting two gold medals at the final round of track cycling's World Cup in Mexico.
The 25-year-old became the first Australian to break the one-minute barrier in the men's kilometre time trial, clocking an impressive 59.675secs to win the four-lap event in Guadalajara.
His time eclipsed the previous record of 1min 0.613secs set by Shane Kelly in 1995.
Sunderland also picked up gold in the men's team pursuit, with countrymen Tirian McManus, Joshua Harrison and Callum Scotson.
"Its always been a mission of mine to go under that magic number, to break the minute, so to actually do that last night was pretty amazing," said sprinter-turned-endurance rider Sunderland.
"I only made the switch six months ago, so I didn't think I would be fronting up at a World Cup, let alone winning two gold medals.
"So it is really exciting and gives me a good sight that things are going in the right direction."
McManus added a third gold to Australia's tally with a final round victory in the men's omnium, while Bella King took out silver in the women's omnium.
King also collected the team's sole bronze medal alongside Georgia Baker, Rebecca Wiasak and Elissa Wundersitz in the women's team pursuit.
