Trump denies he's heading to Jordan

Donald Trump denies he has plans to visit the majority-Muslim kingdom of Jordan, despite having great respect for King Abdullah II.

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has denied a report that he will be visiting the majority-Muslim kingdom of Jordan at the end of December.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Associated Press reported an confirmed report that Trump was planning a visit.

Trump later tweeted: "Despite my great respect for King Abdullah II, I will not be visiting Jordan at this time. This is in response to the false @AP report."
