Trump, Turnbull in North Korea talks

US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will talk on the phone on Wednesday morning.

Malcolm Turnbull will discuss the North Korean situation with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning.

Mr Trump will make the 7.45am AEST call from the White House Oval Office, just hours after receiving a national security council briefing.

Both leaders have condemned North Korea's recent hydrogen bomb test and are seeking diplomatic solutions to the crisis.
