President-elect Donald Trump and his wife Melania have attended their first official function for Inauguration Day.
They attended an hour-long prayer service at St John's Episcopal Church near the White House at 8.30am.
Vice President-elect Mike Pence also attended the service.
They'll next join President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama for morning tea before the swearing in ceremony.
The incoming president started his day by tweeting: "It all begins today! I will see you at 11:00 A.M. for the swearing-in. THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES - THE WORK BEGINS!"
