Lesia Tsurenko is confident her bruised ankle, and ego, will be fine despite letting a maiden top-level title slip in Brisbane on Sunday night.
The unseeded Ukranian served for the match against Karolina Pliskova but lost 13 straight points at that point as the 2017 Brisbane International champion claimed another title.
The 4-6 7-5 6-2 loss also came with an injury scare when Tsurenko rolled her ankle and required treatment earlier in the decisive set.
She limped on but said post-match that is shouldn't be an issue as she eyes the Australian Open later this month.
Addressing just what went wrong on Pat Rafter Arena was the real focus, with the 2013 Brisbane semi-finalist unsure how she let it get away from her.

"I was feeling the same all the way; but I don't know what really changed at 5-4," Tsurenko, who beat US Open champion Naomi Osaka in the semi-finals, said.
"I don't know, maybe she raised her level so much that I was not ready for that.
"It's going to be a big lesson for me, and I'm trying to stay positive. Of course, I'm disappointed with myself, but in general I'm happy with the way I played."
Pliskova tipped Tsurenko, who moved up three places to a career-high No.24, to cause some headaches in Melbourne later this month.
And the defeated finalist hopes she's right as she joins a long queue of top 10 aspirants in 2019.
"My position, of course, is still far away from there," she said.
"I need to show good results consistently the whole year long. So it's just the beginning for me, I hope.
"This is just the first premier final for me, so hopefully next one will be more successful. I almost did it."
