The agent of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has dismissed reports of his client's imminent transition from rugby league to rugby.

The Warriors and Kiwis fullback was reported on Thursday to be close to a deal with New Zealand Rugby and likely to join the Blues for the 2019 Super Rugby season, putting himself in the frame for an All Blacks World Cup berth.

He was yet to inform his teammates of the move, Radio New Zealand reported.

Yet Tuivasa-Sheck's agent, Bruce Sharrock, brushed off the report on Thursday, telling Kiwi media he hadn't spoken to the Blues.

He said it was a case of media speculation, claiming his 24-year-old client was yet to decide where he'd play his sport in 2019.

Warriors chief Cameron George also denied the reports, telling Radio Sport NZ that the club remained in contract negotiations with Tuivasa-Sheck.
