Malcolm Turnbull is set to return home after a week touring Europe.
The prime minister is due back in Sydney on Thursday, following visits to Germany, France and England.
He capped off his trip with a meeting with the Queen at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, having attended the G20 in Hamburg, held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris and a morning of events in London with British Prime Minister Theresa May.
He also received an invitation via Twitter from Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who asked him to visit on his final day in the UK.
Assange, who has been holed up in Ecuador's London embassy for five years, claimed to be the only Australian held in breach of multiple UN rulings.

"Not hard to find mate," he tweeted, before posting a map to the embassy.
"I'll even pay for the cab - but I can't buy you a heart."
Mr Turnbull stirred further debate about his leadership while abroad after questioning the use of labels "conservative" and "liberal" in a speech in London.
Some saw it as a shot at disgruntled conservatives in the Liberal Party, such as Tony Abbott.
The comments come at a time of tension between Liberal conservative MPs and moderates, especially over the issues such as same-sex marriage.
