Turnbull offers quake help to Indonesia

As Indonesia deals with the aftermath of the Aceh earthquake, Australia has offered its assistance.

Malcolm Turnbull has offered assistance to Indonesia following the Aceh earthquake, which claimed at least 102 lives.

The prime minister said he was saddened by the loss of life and damage and had let Indonesian President Joko Widodo know Australia was ready to help.

More than 700 people were injured in the magnitude 6.5 quake, according to Indonesia's national disaster management agency.
