2. CONCETTA FIERRAVANTI-WELLS - The NSW senator has been at the forefront of the government's efforts to counter extremism.
3. JAMES MCGRATH - A political strategist and Sunshine State senator, he has had electoral success with Boris Johnson in London and Campbell Newman in Queensland. Will be handy as the election nears.
4. FIONA NASH - Elevated to cabinet as the new Nationals deputy leader, the NSW senator is widely respected in regional Australia and is a good media performer.
