Turnbull reveals leader meeting line-up

The prime minister has discussed Donald Trump, Theresa May and Angela Merkel with Sydney primary school students ahead of the G20 summit.

Malcolm Turnbull has revealed he's not "scared" of meeting world leaders.

The prime minister met with a group of students at the South Coogee Public School in Sydney on Friday, which was shown live on his Facebook page.

One student asked: "Can it be scary sometimes being a president (sic) and going to meetings?"

"Not at all," Mr Turnbull said, ahead of attending the G20 summit in Hamburg next week.

"The meetings are always very interesting."

The prime minister revealed he would meet with host leader German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Donald Trump, both of whom he has previously met in person.

As well he'll meet with British Prime Minister Theresa May, with whom he and wife Lucy went to Oxford University.

"And of course I will be meeting new people like President (Emmanuel) Macron of France who has just been elected."
