Turnbull takes to water in morning commute

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has joined morning commuters on a Sydney Harbour ferry.

Malcolm Turnbull's love of public transport extends over the water.

The new prime minister, well known for catching Sydney buses and Melbourne trams, was spotted by tweeter David Caldwell on the Rose Bay ferry on Friday morning.

"Even on a rainy misty morning it is sublime to be on a Sydney harbour ferry," Mr Turnbull tweeted back.
