Test winger Turner just held out his Eastwood rugby clubmate John Grant in a time of 11.15 seconds and Parramatta's rugby league superstar fullback Jarryd Hayne in a thrilling three-man battle for the 20,000 first prize.

It was an exciting end to a day which was earlier clouded by controversy when AFL stars, Carlton's Kade Simpson and Essendon's Courtenay Dempsey, were withdrawn from the event for contractual reasons.
