TWE largely unscathed in US wildfires

Treasury Wine Estates says that its staff and infrastructure are largely unscathed by wildfires that have ravaged northern California's wine region.

Wine supplier Treasury Wine Estates says the devastation caused by wildfires in northern California's wine region is unquestionably significant but the company's employees and infrastructure are largely unscathed.

"TWE is fortunate in that all of our people are safe, and our infrastructure in the region remains intact, with no significant fire damage," TWE chairman Paul Rayner told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting on Wednesday.

"Our thoughts are with the Napa and Sonoma communities that have been impacted, and we are offering financial and other support to these communities in their time of need."
