A year-long police operation has resulted in 20 people being charged over an alleged drug trafficking ring in Queensland's southwest.
Almost two dozen homes in Roma were raided on Thursday prior to the closure of the operation and detectives seized methylamphetamines, cannabis, money, guns and stolen property.
The 20 people arrested will face charges of drug trafficking, supplying dangerous drugs, supplying to a minor and firearm offences in court.
South West District Detective Inspector Kerry Johnson hailed the operation a success.
"This will have a significant impact on drug supply within the district," he said.
"The distribution of these drugs pose serious health risks affecting the lives of our children and members of the community and we will continue the fight against drugs."
