Two men are in custody in relation to four armed robberies, with one man arrested after he was surrounded in a motel in Melbourne's west.
A 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old man are being interviewed by police on Thursday after the duo were captured in separate arrests.
The 28-year-old man was surrounded by special operations officers in a room on the upper level of the Westside Hotel in Laverton at 1.30pm.
The 30-year-old man was arrested 30km away in Melton three hours later.
The four armed robberies occurred on July 10 and 11 in Brookfield, Brooklyn, Williams Landing and Tarneit.
