Two people have been charged as part of an investigation into illicit drug supply in Sydney's inner west.

Police allegedly found methylamphetamine, mobile phones and cash when they searched a unit in Marrickville on Friday afternoon, and they arrested two men and a woman.

One of the men was later released but a 30-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were charged and police say further arrests are expected.

The 30-year-old man has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug, supplying a prohibited drug greater than an indictable quantity and dealing with proceeds of crime.

He didn't apply for bail during a Parramatta Bail Court appearance on Saturday and it was formally refused, with his case adjourned for another mention at Central Local Court next week.

The woman has been charged with outstanding warrants relating to shoplifting and failing to appear, and was also scheduled to face Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
